Office Operations Manager required within the Travel & Tourism Industry for the UK’s largest cottage and holiday lettings company’s to be based in their Regional Office in Whitby in North Yorksire

The Office Operations Manager in the regional operations team will see you taking responsibility for an office which provides an essential service to property lettings homeowners; the managed service takes the stress away from letting out clients’ holiday homes, taking care of cleaning, maintenance, check in – you name it, you and your team will simplify the process and take the pressure away from property let owners.

The Travel & Tourism Office Operations Manager with Holiday Lettings will in brief: -

  • Report to the Regional Manager, you’ll be responsible for the teams across a specific geographic patch around the Whitby area, which is positioned within some of the company’s high-density areas when it comes to holiday properties.
  • You’ll be responsible for managing a team to deliver operational excellence at a local level, in a role which will see you trusted to implement new ways of working and enhance working practices, as well as managing the day-to-day operations.
  • The Regional Operations Team is responsible for delivering Operational Excellence to Owners and Guests, at a local level through ensuring consistent operational standards when it comes to cleanliness, maintenance, service delivery and guest check-in, and it will be your role to motivate your teams to deliver a passionate, customer-focused strategy that accommodates the needs of home-owners and guests.

Suitable candidates for this Travel & Tourism Office Operations Manager with Holiday Lettings will be able to demonstrate: -

 

  • Experience in a service sector in a similar role managing teams within sectors such as Travel & Tourism, managed services, facilities management, holiday resorts and holiday parks
  • Experience leading operational change
  • Adaptability and a passion for taking the initiative in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Demonstrable experience of making decisions using data to drive change
  • Analytical thinking and a comfort in “failing fast” through experimentation
  • A creative approach to operational problem solving, with tangible examples
  • The ability to prioritise and deliver a project from beginning to end, irrespective of external factors and pace
  • Adaptability and a passion for taking the initiative in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
  • Due to the nature of this role, a full, clean driving license is also essential, as you’ll be expected to visit clients’ properties and will need the ability to be present in the offices that you’re responsible for on a regular basis
